What does the "Refresh Database" button do?

The "Refresh Database" button does the exact same thing as the update database feature at the beginning of the program, but gives you a shortcut so you can use it whenever you want. So if you add some songs to directories that you have loaded into the PhatNoise Music Manager while it is running, just click the "Refresh Database" button to add them to the database.

From the device view, access your DMS and click the "Print" button at the bottom of your screen.

If you wish to view your playlists outside the PMM, insert your DMS, go to My Computer, open the PHTDTA partition and open the ".db" files with a text editor. These files are tab delimited, sorted by album, artist, or genre.

You may also open the files with Excel. Copy the file and save it to your computer's local hard drive. Right-click the file and choose "Rename". Replace ".db" with ".xls". You may now open the file in Excel.
